About Bernie and Kevin

Hi, I’m Bernie Horvath, author of The Home & School Science Activity Books.  I was a physical science teacher in the 8th and 9th grades for over 30 years.  I have directed multiple workshops for science teachers in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas and California.  A special thanks to all of those who attended our science demonstration workshops in the past.   Look for The Home & School Science Activities workshop at the Georgia Science Teachers Convention in Savannah and the HASTI convention in Indianapolis in February.

Hello, I  am Kevin Horvath. I am the publisher and designer of the   Home and School Science Activity Books. I enjoy science and really enjoyed putting these books together. They have given me a better understanding of science and helped me have a clearer understanding of science in everyday life. Creatively. I am a member of the New York Type Directors Club and the AIGA. I enjoy creating  and art directing brochures, greeting cards, party goods, books and calligraphy.
